Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Pressurized oxygen therapy to enhance tissue oxygenation, accelerate healing, and support cellular repair.

What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) uses a pressurized chamber to deliver 100% oxygen at pressures higher than atmospheric. This dramatically increases oxygen saturation in the blood, allowing oxygen to reach tissues that are oxygen-starved or poorly vascularized.

The mechanism is simple but powerful: under pressure, oxygen dissolves directly into the plasma—not just the red blood cells. This means tissues can receive oxygen even if blood vessel circulation is compromised.

How HBOT Fits Into Almacura

HBOT is particularly valuable when poor tissue oxygenation is identified as a barrier to recovery. It's often combined with other therapies:

Is HBOT Right for Your Case?

HBOT is especially effective when your barriers include poor circulation, tissue hypoxia, or healing that has stalled. Not all conditions require it—we assess whether it's indicated during your comprehensive evaluation.
